With Boothbay Harbour as the backdrop to this electric couple’s ‘I do’, featuring a frolic-worthy forest, there was truly nothing missing from this summer Maine wedding. Melissa and Chad declared, “We do, we drink, we eat, we party,” on a sign outside of their breathtaking waterside ceremony- to set the vibes from the moment you stepped foot onto Spruce Point Inn Resort & Spa: this was a true celebration. Guests danced away the night alongside Dog of Honour Sadie-a gorgeous Great Dane-who matched the elegant aesthetic of upscale pink in a way that simply made your heart swell from a beauty you did not know existed.
I was capturing shots of Melissa and Chad as the surrounding forest of evergreens embraced them lovingly, blessed by the sun shining through the treeline’s natural coverage in the most divine moments to highlight the pure radiance of their love for one another. It was a dream-worthy day, and I was consumed by the thought of how profoundly grateful I am to witness such love come alive on my camera as a Maine wedding photographer. With a tantalizing sunset ending the night over Boothbay Harbour, I can assure you this summer Maine wedding was a day that will be looked back on time and time again.
