Selecting the perfect wedding venue becomes an exhilarating challenge in the breathtaking state of Maine, where the options are seemingly endless and each one more picturesque than the last. Yet as a born and raised Maine photographer, I can hereby certify that this Maine barn wedding at Bear Mountain Inn was an absolute dream come to life. Neena and Brian said “I do” on a sun-filled summer day in Waterford, Maine at the ever so quaint Bear Mountain Inn & Barn, which doubles as the most delightful lakeside bed and breakfast.
Neena and Brian are both dedicated veterinarians and animal lovers to their core, so naturally this wedding featured none other than their dogs Moose and Koda, as well as their sweet, sweet cat Maple as their purrfect flower girl. Cue signature cocktails named in honor of the pooches and wedding day portraits featuring the entire fur family.
As an animal lover myself I truly couldn’t get enough of all the wedding day pet portraits; pet inclusion at weddings will always be a big YESSS from me, and this wedding melted my heart upon arrival.
Love, like the farm fresh flowers, was in full summer bloom as this couple danced beneath the lush forest canopy, with the bride in white sneakers like a total boss. Living in my head rent-free is the way Brian smiled cheek to cheek, and head to toe, as he giddily took in his stunning bride. Walking down the aisle to meet him at the lakeside birch branch altar- this was one of those moments I’ll remember for a lifetime.
Neena and Brian complement each other divinely with their playfulness and genuine love. In a world where people question whether true love exists, Neena and Brian shed light on the reality of how perfect love can be when you’ve found the one for you- and their Maine barn wedding simply followed suit.
